Its YOURS

Im the type of person to see the big pic first, the end result. The in between on the other hand is where realities are. It's the continuous search of the correct formula to provide that grand end result. It would be very simple if the same method that worked for one worked for all or if it was like a blood type situation, but its not. However there are some ground rules and they will help but they will not make dreams real. It's a fight, but if you want it, you must fight, and it's every man/woman for him/herself.

We all see these joe blows coming on reality tv and getting handed fame, the kid that goes from youtube to 3D movies, how about the chick you went to school with who you could blow down any day makes it to the hands of a rap mogul and becomes a hit. What makes theses people worthy and not the rest. First some of these people if we believed in them or not worked their asses off to get where they are today. They stuck to it, practiced, cultivated their craft, others where just point blank lucky.

You must be an army of one learn everything there is to know all parts. Know how to do everyones job on your team, and work even in your sleep. You can have all the mouth in the world but you gotta have a TKO attached to them lips. Look at things from every position, its a game of strategy with different worlds all playing at once. You have to learn how to play your hand to get to Yours.

Whats Yours? Its your dream land, where u want to be in life. Im a lil diff so I see my map to yours from the top of my roof in Brooklyn NY each building is a different level, I must enter from the bottom to the roof of each building I choses to take on getting closer and closer to manhattan. Which would be like the part two to the game. What this does is remove my emotions and the paradigm of values or "the way things should be" and shifts to realities "the way things are" it doesn't have to be harsh, just real. Then I put my game face on and I plan, because "if you plan to fail fail to plan". I think of what I want to do and how I want to do it. I promise you its always bigger in my head but i cant help but to have my "Pepper" moments (from the salt and pepper show when she wanted the big ass condom to come down on the stage but its was a shoe box club). But I see through and people try to stop me but thats part of the game the closer u get the bigger and harder they come. However I cant stop doing what I'm doing sorry, u might win some but I got mad lives saved up so I'll be back like donkey kong. The point my moguls is this, fight to win, never give up, breathe it. Its Yours!

First generation college students working dreams into realities.

Jovan Ramirez
Age: 23
Home Town: Bronx, NY
University at Buffalo- bachelors in exercise science
New york medical college- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (current)

Dream career, and how has changed over time?
I always wanted to be a doctor. I was always in the hospital because of severe asthma, and was always grateful to the doctors that helped me. When I was in high school I realized I still wanted to be a Doctor, but I was interested in physical therapy instead of pediatrics.

What do you feel your biggest struggle was while in undergrad?
Juggling a very hard major and being the leader on campus I wanted to be.

What was your biggest life lesson to date?
Everything, everything, everything happens for a reason. Even in my darkest moments, something good came out of it later down the road.

If you could take one good idea from our time 40 years in the past what would it be and why?
Cell phones lol I don’t know how people functioned without them! If don’t have my blackberry for a day I feel lost.

What drives you?
Right now, money. Honestly, I want to be successful to the point that money is not a worry or problem in my life. But for most of my life I never wanted to disappoint my parents, and that drove me.

How do you think you have changed since the limo ride to prom?
Most of my values are still the same. I’ve matured on some ways just because I’ve experienced more in life. I wish I could go back because that was the last moment where you had no worries or obligations. After that was when adulthood started up. And being an adult is tough; I wish I still had no worries.

What is one thing you would like to tell the world?
Everyone has the capacity to do great things and achieve their goal. You just have to keep working hard and fighting. No one in life owes you anything; you have earn everything, including respect.

Where do you see yourself ten years from now?
Hopefully starting up my own clinic somewhere. Definitely married, with at least one kid.

Back to School!

Now I don't know bout most of theses kids now a days but in high school we didn't get fly on the 1st week in Sept. it was the next week. BUT STOP THE COW BELLS cause on the return from Christmas break you had to be the flyest newest still smelling like the sneaker store clothes not ironed or washed tag popped that am take a shower in the night and the morning durag line on head smelling like greatness looking at ur self in every car window and old lady glasses fly not hearing shit cause your bumping ur new Sony mini disk not seeing shit cause ur texting the only 4 people you knew with you two way.

Its more than likely still that way but its my goal to make Bloodline Denim the ish to come back to school in. If you like it then you really should paid for it lol.

New stages for Kareem Youngblood

I never would of thought that I would be in this place in my life 3 years ago. In some ways I'm doing way better then I ever thought I would and in many more I'm not even close. Its important for me to understand that when big gains are what you are after you must take bigger risk. More important then that, I must understand that this risk isn't always a monetary one.

So what are my risk you ask?

Stability: I don't have a 9-5 I put all of my time into making my dreams come true, this means I have to make it work so that I can survive. Every dime that comes into my pockets are because I made it on my time. However I've been slacking, not having a boss makes you do what you want when you want, and right now that's not a good look for me.

Self esteem Issues: At times I feel like I am the ish! and I doing it way big I'm the next big thing and a lot of the times I feel that its never gonna happen that I'm wasting my time. I think its some type of bipolarism that us big dreamers have.

There are Heaps more that I can list, However I made up my mind that if this is my life then I will make it work. I have found my self meeting with publicist looking for lawyers and a bunch of other things that are really starting to trip me out like OK your playing to much now, but I'm ready to take it a lil bigger guys! reach for the stars their not that far.

Happy new years!

Yea so the stupid DJ 10 9 8ed on 32 31 30 so we had to do it twice, he should leave his wackass clock in 2010. Other then that the night was dope. I got my fresh cut at Push my barbers in bk on the corner of Prospect and Utica, and ran home to get dressed. I felt like being a lil extra i mean its 2011, and only wanted to be in bld so that's what I did. oh yeah and i had to take to pair of rays with me. Why? one because in fly two people tend to buy sungods' right off of my face so i had to being a back up. I'm also becoming very addicted to my turquoise rays.

I Hope you all had a blast on nye and are now ready to work hard to make 2011 better then any year you had so far. I don't really do the new years resolution thing but I do look at my life and see what I need to make better.
My goals for 2011 are simple to
make more money and look even better, i have a few others but they all point to those two. Any how I partied at Denim Lounge in B
K for the new years with my bff Felicia, it was just us two. My god sister Jessica was supposed to come but she had a few problems of her own that
night. However I had a great time, we got nice a drunk then took a Cabby back to my house. It been a while since just the two of use kicked it so I really enjoyed having her to my self. I wish you all the best of everything for 2011.

Money Makers!

So what in the hell was i thinking when I cut up a dollar bill and pasted it on a pair of glasses that's cost $179.00? I wish I could afford to cut up a Ben. Now the 1st thing you might say is umm omg that's against the law, cause all of you guys went to law school. However it is only against the law if you try to use it as money. Think I'm making stuff up? did u ever see the owners of the penny things at rest stops going to Jail? next time you see one read the print on the box that says:

"IT'S LEGAL! U.S. Title 1 8, Chapter 17,
Section 331:Prohibits among other things,
fraudulent alteration and mutilation of
coins. Thisstatue does not, however,
prohibit the mutilation of coins if
done without fraudulent intent if the
mutilated coins are not used fraudulently."

OK Law class is Done, Theses frames are from the Ray Ban rare print collection. The inside has this really crazy sick pattern going on and that's what sold me! I brought a pair for me and two for Sungod! cant wait to start the other pair. I really hope you all love them as much as I do. they also have dark blue butter soft lamb skin leather, and Swarovski retailing for $300.00 if you want them get at me.
remember "Being fly is never hard if its in your blood."

CAKE BOSS!!!!!!

So last night was the night Kareem Youngblood the whole team and I went to the denim lounge to decorate for the baby shower which was appearing on the TLC reality Cake Boss. Now I sound like I kept my composer through out the entire taping, and I did but on the inside I was about 2 minutes from running down the block and buying a shirt that says HI MOM IM ON TV!! It was too crazy but I guess I should start from the beginning. After a crazy Friday night (but that’s a story for another day), I had to wake up 7 on a Friday and get to Brooklyn by 9 30. Once that part was finished I had to work as soon as I got to the house. Hot gluing denim patches together to form this dope rug, altering a dress for the mother to be working with bleach in my Nudie jeans which is some scary shit. When I was done with that of to the laundry mat to get the bleach smell out of the patches and the denim shirts. That’s not all that easy when you don’t know shit bout the ins and out of Brooklyn. I fount my way though. When that was done, I had to run my ass back to Kareem’s apartment and bring all of the stuff to the Denim Lounge, including his shoes because he ran out of the house bare foot. Now when we got that stuff there it’s a whole other story, we gotta rush and get the stuff ready to make the place look crazy get Wendy( mother to be) ready for her camera appearance then arrange all the decorations according to how we, as the artist want it. Get ourselves ready so we don’t look like the homeless on national tv, and finally celebrate cause we came, we saw and we pulled that shit off. Once the cameras got there we were ready everything was in place Wendy looked amazing thanks to Kareem Emmanuel, Qwana and I, and I can honestly say its something I will never in life forget. What I’m going through now my break into the fashion world has been amazing I know there will be some falls some set backs but that’s just a part of the game and I know I have what it takes to be a Ralph Lauren, or Yves Saint Laurent. But for as long as I live I will forever be me. I will eat sleep and breathe it and just so y’all know, Imma be on top of the world!!!!

P.S that cake was amazing I’m not gonna give all the details, your just going to have to watch Cake Boss and see
